Sick and Tired

.

January 31, 2026 | Read online

The last few weeks I’ve written about how I am sick and tired of wasting money and dealing with people and vendors who overpromise and underdeliver.

This week I’m literally sick and tired.

I’ve been traveling and training nonstop for the past two weeks and woke up this morning with razor blades in my throat and a massive headache.

Apparently, now that I’m 50, my body doesn’t enjoy the all-day trainings, running through airports, limited sleep, redeyes and airport food like it used to. Who-da-thunk?

Needless to say, I don’t have the mental bandwidth to write anything too insightful for this week’s newsletter, so I thought I would just share a few of my most popular and favorite posts/content instead.

Stay warm, stay safe and stay healthy out there.

THE GIVE A SHIT FACTOR

SELL TO THE 20%

This one’s about how no one cares about your entire solution, they only care about the 20% that is most relevant to them, and it’s what you need to focus on if you want to stand out.

PERSONALIZATION DONE RIGHT

If you want to see what REAL personalization looks like and why I don’t think it should take “16 touches” to get a meeting, check out this post.
